Wheelie bins
product(s)Engels' steel and plastic containers are known as the strongest waste containers available on the market. Whether you are looking for a wheelie bin for your company, club or you want to buy a wheelie bin for your home, Engels delivers quality at a competitive price. Fast delivery from a large stock.
Plastic waste container composition
Each waste container consists of an HDPE (polyethylene) body and lid. The lid has 2 handles to make opening easier. A solid steel axle with 2 wheels with full rubber tyres Ø 200 mm (black) is supplied as standard with each plastic roll container. The waste container is produced exclusively from new material, is UV- and frost-resistant and free of cadmium and other heavy metals, and complies with the EN 840 standard.
Colours and volume of plastic waste containers
Engels stocks various capacity sizes of 2-wheel waste containers (including bulb containers):
- minicontainer 120 litres
- minicontainer 140 litres
- minicontainer 240 litres
We also have 60 litre, 80 litre and 360 litre roll containers.
We keep 10 colour combinations and 7 sizes of 2-wheel roll containers in stock. Having your company or club colours reflected in your waste container is no problem for us. Carcasses and lids are available from stock in various colours. You therefore have an extensive palette of colours for your waste container.
Other roll containers that Engels has in stock include the following capacity sizes:
- 4-wheel roll container 660 litres
- 4-wheel rollcontainer 770 litres
- 4-wheel rollcontainer 1070 litres
For the 4-wheel roll containers, you can have a lid in lid. This means that the waste container with the large lid can be opened to dispose of bulky waste. However, when disposing of a small amount of waste, you only need to open the small lid located inside the large one.
Choosing a steel or plastic waste container?
Steel containers meet the same EN standard as plastic containers and have the same capacity dimensions. However, the right choice largely depends on the type of waste to be contained in the container.
We recommend the use of steel containers in particular when heavy loads are involved and when the metal containers need to be fire and flame-retardant. Steel containers are also used when working with solvents that react with plastic, such as thinner or white spirit.
Customised roll containers
The biggest differentiating factor of Engels' plastic roll containers is providing the standard plastic roll container with many options. This has made the range of plastic containers for specific applications inexhaustible.
If required, our assembly department can customise the 2- or 4-wheel roll container for the specific use in your situation. We already mention many options on this site, but are of course at your service to devise and implement many more possibilities together with you.
