Protective transport packaging is essential for transporting professional and expensive equipment. For example, flight cases have been self-evident for years for the safe transport of microphones, mixing panels, cables, etc. The disadvantage of standard flight cases is the weight of the wooden plates used (usually birch). This means that the heavy flight case usually has to be moved by several people or by special equipment.
Our flight case design, which was conceived during the late 50’s, is an industry standard in Audio Visual to which we have made improvements to make our cases stronger and lighter. We always use either anodised or powder coated extrusions for added durability, but we have retained the aesthetics of the traditiopnal f;ight case.
We want to ensure that your case contents arrive at their destination in a fully operational condition, so we consider the mode of transport – road, air, sea and rail, and its particular vibration signature, together with the effect of a shock spike as a result of the case being dropped, so we can ensure that the interior design is capable of protecting your valuable asset.
We are constantly striving to make our cases stronger, lighter, more cost effective, more durable and more protective but always with our customers in mind. Our product development has come often as a result of our customers saying things like “wouldn’t it be good if…” and thus starts a process that leads to a completely new product. In this way our flagship product - the EXOcase was inspired.
We will do our utmost to make sure our product gets your product from A to B safely and securely.
For the ultimate in strength and durability we have our patended flagship range of EXOcases, EXOcontainer and EXOracks.
Our fabricated cases can be made to the exact size and confguration you require, and we offer a range of panel materials, colours and case fittings to suit. For the harshest environment we can specify stainless steel for the case componentry.
Interior fitting options range from fabricated partition systems to CNC machined foam inserts. We tend to use Zotefoams Azote Plastazote (from a UK company) which is a cross linked, closed cell polyurethane foam available in a range of densities, colours and properties, such as flame retardant, conductive or static dissipative characteristics. Computer simulation can be used to establish the correct parameters of the foam interior to offer the ultimate in shock and vibration attenuation.
With our Digital UV print facilities and a full range of panel colours and machined interior foam options available we are sure that our flight cases stand alone in terms of strength, durability and design.
We also offer a vast range of
(commercially off the shelf) products designed to meet diverse requirements from extremes of temperature to high levels of both dust and water ingress protection. Our comprehensive range of injection moulded products, ideal for product promotion and presentation, come in a range of colours, which can also be produced to an exact colour match.
